Booking policies automate when deposits are paid, if they're refundable, and when to take final payment.
Booking Policies also dictate when property rent and fees are paid if they are refundable at at what amounts.
The rent and fees do not have to share the same policy except for Vrbo where fees cannot be included in the policy.
The system supports a default booking policy (reservation agent and website) and booking policies for VRBO. Airbnb booking policies are managed on the property level when directly integrated within the system. Any channels connected via BookingPal have booking policies within BookingPal and these policies overrule anything in the system.
