Introduction
Tax Groups allow users to link taxes together to assess all applicable taxes on a property, fee or product.
For example, if taxes for a short-term rental are different from a long-term rental in your program, then a tax group for each needs to be created.
Similarly, if you have properties in different tax agency jurisdictions, then you would create separate tax groups for all taxes within each jurisdiction.
A tax can be a part of multiple tax groups. Groups are required to assess taxes on properties in LMPM.
